I am humbled and grateful to be part of a beautiful world full of incredibly amazing and accomplished humans....

In Admiration and Awe

In admiration and awe,

I see people making the world a better place,

Using their incredible talents and acumen,

To bring so much to the human race.

I see leaders and entrepreneurs,

Who lead and teach and share,

Who help us to realize our dreams in life,

With their expertise and their flare.

I see people who volunteer and help,

For those in need of services and care,

Who spend their time and their resources,

Selflessly helping others in our world out there.

And I see those artists and creative spirits,

That bring beauty with their creative touch,

So we can appreciate and enjoy their work,

Decorating our homes and spaces and such.

All I can hope to do as a writer,

Is use my words to help you along,

To entertain, to teach or to support you,

When things in life go wrong.

And I hope to whisk you away,

Between the pages of my stories and poems,

To help you escape from what is hard,

Or to entertain and delight you in your homes.

And so, I can say that I am humbled,

To be part of a community and world that is vast,

Filled with so many amazing humans,

Who lead with grace, much strength and class...
